'everytime i open' What are you opening?
This is related to a program you installed or partially uninstalled.
Have you run any registry cleaning programs? If so can you restore anything it cleaned?

The is a 'clean up' program for MSI (Microsoft Installer) but it is no longer supported. I've used it when I had a similar problem.

MS has a 'fixit' that might work for you --> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651/

However, you can still get it --> http://www.404techsupport.com/2010/06/microsoft-no-longer-supports-windows-installer-cleanup-utility/

When you run it, look for the program that is going to be installed.

Probably cause is a problem in the Registry I would assume. Did you run a Registry cleaning recently? Use an Uninstaller, it might have taken out something required.

Try reinstalling windows installer. You can find it on the microsoft website. Might help.

Try letting Windows Installer install what it wants to. I had this happen in the past on my XP machine and I found that it was just a program that I used and something had happened to. Just make a system restore point before you try my suggestion encase it isn't something safe. Maybe even a backup up with Macrium Reflect.

I hope it works. :) It is annoying when it just keeps popping up!

@ Xhi, how did you underline the system restore, was it ctrl-U only on chrome that opens up the HTML coding etc

Do you have any idea what it is trying to install?
Do you have an option of letting it run?
You can try this for a temp fix.

If you can DETERMINE what it is trying to install, then the MSI CLEANUP tool can be used to REMOVE that program from the installer. That WILL fix this.

Otherwise you've got a program that is either in a REGISTRY RUN key that gets loaded on every boot and is trying to do the install or you can see it in MSCONFIG. It could be a VIRUS too, and a FULL SCAN should get it out.
